New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- The Delhi high court on Monday said that it cannot allow India to be maligned or criticised on an international platform. A bench of justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav made the remark while hearing a petition filed by Amrit Wilson, an 82-year-old British-Indian writer and journalist, in 2023 against the Centre's decision to cancel her OCI card. The government in March 2023 had cancelled her OCI card, accusing her of involvement in "multiple anti-India activities" and "detrimental propaganda."
