Bose forced to resign as Governor: Mamata
Kolkata, March 8 -- West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday alleged that CV Ananda Bose was "threatened" and forced to resign as the governor of West Bengal, even as she described incoming governor RN Ravi as a cadre of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Banerjee also continued her attack against the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state, saying the deletion of voters during the exercise is aimed at "dividing the state".
