India, March 28 -- Fresh details have emerged in the murder case of 32-year-old Gauri Anil Sambrekar alias Gauri Khedekar, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in her Bengaluru home.
According to a report by Deccan Herald, the woman's her husband, Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar, allegedly informed their landlord about the murder before fleeing to Maharashtra.
Investigators said Rakesh, a project manager at a private firm, left for Mumbai on Tuesday. On Thursday evening, he reportedly called the landlord and disclosed the crime, prompting the house owner to alert the police around 5.30 pm, the report added.
