Aiyar launches fresh attack on cong colleagues
Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 17 -- Senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar on Monday launched a fresh attack against his party colleagues, even as the Congress distanced itself from his remarks, a day after he publicly said that Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was likely to return to office after this year's Assembly elections.
Aiyar made remarks about Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor, AICC general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal and senior Kerala leader Ramesh Chennithala. Referring to Tharoor, he said the Congress had not made him foreign minister and alleged that he was now "trying to become Modi's foreign minister".
He also commented on Congress national spokesperson Pawan Khera, describing him as a "puppet" of the party....
