New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- In a major expansion of India's aviation infrastructure, eight crucial airports and terminals will be inaugurated in the first half of 2025, officials said.
The new facilities will come up in Goa, Patna, Prayagraj, Jodhpur, Hirasar (Rajkot), Satna, Datia and Thoothukudi.
"Prayagraj, Jodhpur and Patna's expansion will be completed by June 30 this year. Goa's Dabolim airport will have a new terminal building by March," a senior aviation ministry official said, asking not to be named. The official added that airports at Datia, Satna and Hirasar are almost ready for inauguration.
