Bengaluru, Feb. 9 -- A 50-year-old Cessna 172 trainer aircraft made a crash landing due to inadequate fuel near Belagavi airport on Sunday. The two pilots are safe, said officials. The plane was operated by Redbird Flight Training Academy. The firm came under scrutiny for similar accidents in 2023. Following two crash landings of its aircraft that October, DGCA temporarily suspended the operations of the academy at all its bases.P8
