Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 3 -- Three elderly sisters allegedly died by suicide in Kerala's Thrissur district, a police officer aware of the matter said on Monday. The deceased were aged 83, 80 and 75, said the officer, adding that they are suspected to have consumed poison together at their residence in Mullurkara on January 30. All three were unmarried, he added. Neighbours found them unconscious and rushed them to a nearby hospital, en route to which the eldest sister died, said the officer, adding that the youngest sister died during treatment the next day and the last sister died on Monday.
