New Delhi, March 4 -- Three people were killed and two others injured after the car they were travelling in collided with a stationary crane in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district in the early hours on Tuesday, police said. "Five friends were returning from dinner at 3 am when their car collided with a crane near the Basant petrol pump on Itarsi road. Three of them died on the spot while two were critically injured," Betul sub-divisional police officer Sunil Lata said. The bodies were stranded in the car and recovered by breaking the windshield, the officer said.
