Mumbai, Feb. 5 -- A 21-year-old male civil engineering student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) allegedly died by suicide in the early hours of Wednesday, police said.
According to police, the incident took place at around 1 am in the hostel located in Mumbai's Powai area. The student, who hailed from Rajasthan's Churu district, was rushed to Rajawadi Hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said. The deceased allegedly jumped off the terrace. P9
