PANJIM: Verem Veterans defeated Siolim Veterans 3-1 via tie-breaker 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of 8th All Goa Panjim Veterans football tournament played at Taleigao ground, on Tuesday.

Both the teams were locked in a goalless draw at the end of regulation time.

In the resultant tie-breaker, Avinash Shidorkar, Jitendra and Sandip scored for Fracture Verem Veterans, while Sabestiao Lemos scored for Siolim Veterans.
