The South Goa Superintendent of Police (SP) Sunita Sawant issued an order terminating the services of two police constables for serious misconduct.
The Department issued termination notice to suspended constable Rajat Adpaikar for assaulting Traffic ASI Vivek Phadte, while on duty
The incident had occurred at Banastarim bridge on September 10 this year after Phadte stopped him while riding a two-wheeler without a helmet.
Following heated altercation, Rajat and his three family members assaulted Phadte
The Mardol police had registered case against four persons while, Rajat, who was attached to the Mormugao police station was placed under suspension by SP South Sunita Sawant, same day.
