Goa, April 20 -- It's now clear that Churchill Brothers have been declared champions of the 2024-25 I-League season by the AIFF Appeals Committee after a lengthy dispute involving Inter Kashi and Namdhari FC. The controversy began when Inter Kashi protested a loss to Namdhari FC, claiming that Namdhari fielded an ineligible player. Initially, Inter Kashi was awarded a 3-0 win by the AIFF Disciplinary Committee, which would have given them the league title.
