Brief Summary: Psychomotor Disadaptation Syndrome (PMDS) is characterised by a deterioration in postural function, gait and psychomotor automatisms in the elderly. It is often associated with falls and can manifest itself as retropulsion, gait abnormalities, neurological disorders and psycho-behavioural problems.
