Liberia's UN Representative Highlights Importance of Country's Continental Shelf
New York, March 21 -- The Permanent Representative of Liberia to the United Nations, His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr., has told the United Nations Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLCS), that the Republic of Liberia attaches the highest importance to the establishment of the outer limits of the continental shelf.
Speaking recently when Liberia presented its 'submission' before the Commission for a claim of the extension of Liberia's Continental Shelf beyond the Two Hundred (200) nautical mile limits, Ambassador Kemayah said the Country has adequately covered all points of the Submission, to allow a full understanding and examination process.
