India, Jan. 13 -- The first festival of the year Sankranti/Pongal is generally one that is all about big-ticket releases from Tamil and Telugu at the box office in Karnataka. There are smaller films that have risked the clash in the past, but have not had the greatest run in theatres. This year, Kiccha Sudeep's nephew Sanchith Sanjeev's debut film, Mango Pachcha, was meant to be the Kannada film for Sankranti, but then decided against that, what with Tamil and Telugu having 4 major releases each.
