Nepal, June 19 -- The victims of the decade-long armed insurgency have waited 18 years for justice. Recently, the government appointed 10 commissioners to two transitional justice bodies-the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and the Commission of Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP). However, the recruitment process has left victims disgruntled. They have accused it of being unfair, perpetrator-centric, unconsulted and humiliating.
