Nepal, Jan. 7 -- Five people were arrested in Baitadi with brown heroin on Tuesday morning. The arrests were made around 9:45am from the office of SKNS Construction Services in Patan Municipality-6, Patan Bazar, said Police Inspector Baldev Badu, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Baitadi.

Those arrested are 21-year-old Hemant Bista, 22-year-old Kapil Bista, 18-year-old Sasank Chand, 30-year-old Bishnu Bista, and 22-year-old Subhas Kathayat, all residents of Patan Municipality-6. Police seized 250 milligrams of brown heroin from them.

"The operation was based on specific intelligence about drug trafficking. During the inspection, the substances were recovered, and all five were immediately arrested," Badu said.
