Mahottari, Oct. 12 -- Families of those injured in a bus accident at ward 11 of Bardibas Municipality have blocked the BP Highway, saying the victims have not received proper treatment even weeks after the crash.

The passenger bus, operated by BP Yatayat Pvt Ltd, was travelling from Gharibathan in Sarlahi to Kathmandu when it overturned in Khairmara on October 5.

Six critically injured passengers were airlifted to Kathmandu the same day. However, the victims' families said treatment was halted due to the lack of coordination between the transport entrepreneurs' association and the bus operator.
