Kathmandu, April 1 -- Borja Golan, one of the world's best squash players, has arrived in Nepal to train Nepali players.
The Nepal Squash and Rackets Association (NSRA) invited Borja for a week-long training session. Borja, who is from Spain, is currently a Level 3 coach. As a player, he was in the top five in the world in 2014.
Borja has won the national squash championship in Spain 17 times. He also has 33 titles in the PSA Squash Tour and was a two-time European Individual Champion before retiring in 2023.
After his retirement, Borja started Golan Squash Academy, which targets producing new players and supporting talents. Nepal's Amrit Thapa Magar is also undergoing training in the same academy.
