Jammu, July 11 -- Security forces in the Jammu region are intensifying operations amid reports of heightened terrorist activity, with around 40-50 Pakistani terrorists active across eight districts, official sources revealed on Friday. The majority, nearly 30 Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists, are operating in Udhampur, Reasi, Doda, and Kishtwar, while 15-20 others are active in Rajouri and Poonch, posing a significant threat to regional stability.
Sources confirm that over 95% of these terrorists are Pakistani nationals, operating in small, mobile groups south of the Pir Panjal range.
