Jammu, July 4 -- At least five engineers including a draftsman of PHE, now Jal Shakti Department, are on un-ending deputation, which goes beyond a decade, in Rural Engineering Wing (REW) of Rural Development and Panchyati Raj (RD&PR) department in Rajouri.
Highly placed sources informed Early Times that neither did their parent department recall them nor the RD&PR department, where they were deputed for decades, had taken any appropriate action. "Culture of un-ending deputation of PHE engineers in RDD is not new. But currently, Farooq Bhat, a Junior Engineer from PHE is working in REW Rajouri since 1989, with a 31 years long lien to his parent department.
