India, March 23 -- Zinc prices declined by Rs 3.10 to Rs 304.10 per kg in futures trade on Monday, as speculators cut their positions amid weak cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for April delivery dropped Rs 3.10, or 1.01 per cent, to Rs 304.10 per kg, with a turnover of 269 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall to reduced demand from consuming industries in the physical market, prompting participants to trim their exposure and weighing on prices.
