India, March 18 -- Zinc prices declined nearly 1 per cent to Rs 316.25 per kilogram in futures trade on Wednesday, weighed down by weak global trends and bearish sentiment in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for March delivery slipped by Rs 3.05, or 0.96 per cent, to Rs 316.25 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,227 lots.
The April contract also declined by Rs 3.25, or 1.01 per cent, to Rs 319.25 per kg in 2,088 lots.
