India, March 25 -- Zinc futures inched up on Wednesday, rising by Rs 1.80 to Rs 310.40 per kg, supported by firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), April contracts gained 0.58%, with a business turnover of 436 lots.

The uptick in prices was driven by increased participation and fresh positions taken by traders, reflecting positive market sentiment.
