India, April 10 -- Silver prices declined by Rs 3,549 to Rs 2,40,219 per kg in futures trade on Friday, as market participants reduced their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery fell Rs 3,549, or 1.46%, to Rs 2,40,219 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,718 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to profit booking and a sell-off by traders, which weighed on prices.
