India, July 21 -- Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), the country's largest steel-making Maharatna PSU, has emerged as the largest steel supplier to the prestigious Zojila Tunnel project, one of India's most ambitious infrastructure undertakings. Once completed, the Zojila Tunnel will be India's longest road tunnel and Asia's longest bi-directional tunnel.
SAIL has played a key role in this strategic initiative by supplying over 31,000 tonnes of steel, including TMT Re-bars, structural steel, and plates.
