India, May 8 -- RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a purchase order worth approximately Rs 24.91 crore, including taxes, from The New India Assurance Company Limited.
The order involves procurement of an AI and machine learning-based solution for monitoring and investigating fraud, waste, and abuse in health insurance claims.
According to the company's regulatory filing, the project has been awarded by a domestic entity and is scheduled to be executed by May 6, 2029.
RailTel clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
The company received the work order on May 7, 2026, at 6:01 PM.
