India, Feb. 1 -- Mahindra & Mahindra on Sunday reported a 24% year-on-year increase in total automobile sales, including exports, with volumes reaching 1,04,309 units in January.
Domestic passenger vehicle sales showed strong momentum, rising 25% to 63,510 units, compared with 50,659 units in January last year.
Commenting on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of the company's Automotive Division, said the automaker kicked off the year on a strong note, driven by robust SUV demand and sustained market traction.
