India, March 10 -- JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 23.66 lakh tonnes for February 2026, marking a 2% year-on-year decline compared to 24.07 lakh tonnes in the same month last year.

The company stated that production at its Indian operations stood at 23.06 lakh tonnes during the month, slightly lower on a yearly basis. The decline was primarily due to the shutdown of Blast Furnace 3 (BF3) at its Vijayanagar plant for capacity upgradation since September 2025. The shutdown led to a 1% year-on-year drop in crude steel production at the India operations level.
