India, Jan. 19 -- JD Cables Limited has announced the receipt of a fresh EPC infrastructure contract worth Rs 163 crore from Kaushal Engineering Limited (KEL). This is in continuation of the earlier Rs 244 crore order awarded on December 23, 2025, taking the total cumulative order value to Rs 407 crore.

The new contract relates to the construction of balance civil and electrical works for the six-laning of the Bihar–Jharkhand border (Chordaha to Gorhar section) of NH-2 in Jharkhand, executed under NHDP Phase V on an EPC basis.

The total revenue from the current work order is Rs 162.88 crore, inclusive of GST and price escalation, with the project expected to be completed within nine months.
