India, March 2 -- India's industrial production growth slowed to a three-month low of 4.8 per cent in January, weighed down by weaker performance in the mining and manufacturing sectors, according to official data released on Monday.
Factory output, measured by the Index of Industrial Production (IIP), had expanded 5.2 per cent in January 2025.
The last lower reading was recorded in October 2025, when growth stood at 0.5 per cent. Industrial output had risen 7.2 per cent in November 2025, as per the official statement.
