India, Feb. 3 -- India Yamaha Motor has officially forayed into the electric mobility space with the launch of its first electric scooter, the EC-06, priced at Rs 1,67,600 (ex-showroom Delhi). The model, introduced on February 2, marks the company's debut in India's fast-growing EV two-wheeler segment.
The EC-06 offers a certified riding range of 169 km on a single charge and will initially be retailed through Yamaha's exclusive Blue Square showrooms.
With this launch, Yamaha aims to strengthen its commitment to sustainable mobility and carbon-neutral goals, aligning its strategy with evolving Indian emission norms and the country's push towards cleaner and self-reliant transportation solutions.
