India, Feb. 5 -- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has provided an update on the delivery status of its Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Mk1A programme, reaffirming its commitment to timely execution for all stakeholders.
The company confirmed that five aircraft are fully ready for delivery, incorporating all major contracted capabilities in line with agreed specifications. In addition, nine more aircraft have already been built and successfully flown. These will be prepared for delivery once engines are received.
HAL stated that it has received five engines so far from General Electric, with the supply outlook remaining positive and aligned with the company's production and delivery schedules.
