India, April 21 -- Guar seed futures moved higher on Tuesday as investors increased their bets in the derivatives market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for May delivery gained Rs 11, or 0.19%, to Rs 5,828 per quintal, with an open interest of 5,828 lots.

Market participants said fresh buying interest supported prices in futures trade, despite a softer trend in the spot market.
