India, Jan. 30 -- Guar seed futures edged lower on Friday, with prices slipping Rs 6 to Rs 5,560 per quintal, weighed down by ample supplies in the market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), February delivery contracts declined Rs 6, or 0.11%, to trade at Rs 5,560 per quintal, with an open interest of 40,740 lots.
Market participants said the fall in prices was driven by increased arrivals from major producing regions, which added pressure on the futures market.
