India, Jan. 29 -- Guar seed prices fell on Thursday, with futures declining Rs 32 to Rs 5,449 per quintal, amid ample availability in the market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for February delivery slipped Rs 32, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 5,449 per quintal, while open interest stood at 45,595 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline in prices to increased supplies from key growing regions, which weighed on sentiment.
