India, Jan. 27 -- Guar seed prices slipped in futures trade on Tuesday, weighed down by ample supplies from producing regions. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 24, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 5,663 per quintal, with open interest at 52,600 lots.

Market participants said the decline in prices was driven by rising arrivals from key growing areas.
