India, Jan. 20 -- Guar seed prices eased in futures trade on Tuesday amid ample supplies in the physical market. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 25, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 5,697 per quintal, with open interest at 65,440 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to rising arrivals from growing regions, which increased supply and put pressure on guar seed prices during the session.
