India, Jan. 20 -- Guar gum prices moved higher in futures trade on Tuesday as speculators increased their positions amid firm demand in the physical market. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for February delivery rose by Rs 47, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 10,660 per quintal, with open interest standing at 59,545 lots.

Analysts said traders raised their bets after tracking the positive trend in the spot market, which supported the rise in guar gum prices during the session.
