India, Feb. 4 -- GHV Infra Projects Ltd has announced that its joint venture, GHV Infra Projects–BIL, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for riverbank protection works in Assam under a government-backed flood management initiative.
The contract has been awarded by the Water Resources Department Assam Water Centre and involves executing both underwater and above-water riverbank protection works in the Jorhat subproject, covering the districts of Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Golaghat. The project falls under the Asian Development Bank-supported Climate Resilient Brahmaputra Integrated Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Programme.
