India, Jan. 22 -- The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Thursday launched Electronic Personnel Licence (EPL) services for the Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) at an event held at its headquarters, marking a significant milestone in the regulator's digital transformation journey.
Speaking on the occasion, DG (CA) Shri Faiz Ahmed Kidwai said the EPL initiative is a key step towards strengthening India's civil aviation regulatory ecosystem through secure, modern and future-ready digital systems. He congratulated DGCA teams and technology partners for successfully implementing the initiative and acknowledged the cooperation of the aviation industry and stakeholders in adopting the new system.
