India, Feb. 5 -- Crude oil prices declined in futures trade on Thursday, tracking weak global trends as oversupply concerns and soft demand weighed on sentiment.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, crude oil futures for March delivery slipped Rs 106, or 1.8%, to Rs 5,770 per barrel, with a business turnover of 236 lots.

Analysts said the fall was largely driven by participants offloading their positions amid muted demand in the spot market, which kept prices under pressure.
