India, Feb. 13 -- Crude oil futures slipped Rs 2 to Rs 5,699 per barrel on Friday, tracking weak global trends amid concerns over oversupply.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for March delivery declined by Rs 2, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 5,699 per barrel, with a business turnover of 1,013 lots.

Analysts said prices were weighed down by position trimming by participants amid subdued demand and weak sentiment in the spot market.
