India, March 6 -- Cottonseed oil cake prices rose by Rs 10 to Rs 3,362 per quintal in futures trade on Friday as speculators built fresh positions amid improving demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake contracts for April delivery traded higher by Rs 10, or 0.30 per cent, at Rs 3,362 per quintal, with an open interest of 21,800 lots.
Traders said expanding positions driven by rising demand for cattle feed primarily supported the uptrend in cottonseed oil cake prices.
