India, April 1 -- Copper futures increased by Rs 2.40 to Rs 1,182.20 per kg on Wednesday, supported by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for May delivery gained 0.2% in a business turnover of 492 lots.
Analysts attributed the uptick to fresh buying interest and increased positions by market participants.
