India, Jan. 20 -- Copper prices declined in futures trade on Tuesday as participants pared their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery slipped by 95 paise, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 1,327.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 8,637 lots.

Analysts said the decline was driven by lower bets from market participants in view of subdued demand conditions, which weighed on copper prices during the session.
