India, Feb. 2 -- Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 68.91 crore for executing riverbank protection works under the Climate Resilient Brahmaputra Integrated Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Project in Assam.

The contract has been awarded by the Water Resources Department Assam under a government-led initiative supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The scope of work includes both underwater and above-water riverbank protection measures across the Jorhat subproject, covering the districts of Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Golaghat.
