India, Feb. 2 -- Leading automakers including Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Tata Motors Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, and Hyundai Motor India Limited reported higher sales in January, supported by sustained demand and continued momentum following the festive season and GST-led recovery in the auto market.
Market leader Maruti Suzuki said its domestic passenger vehicle dispatches to dealers increased slightly to 1,74,529 units last month, compared with 1,73,599 units in January last year.
