India, Jan. 20 -- Aluminium prices eased in futures trade on Tuesday as participants reduced their positions amid a weak trend in the physical market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for February delivery declined by Rs 1.25, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 319.05 per kg, with a business turnover of 3,426 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall to position trimming by market participants following subdued demand from consuming industries, which weighed on aluminium prices during the session.
