India, Jan. 13 -- Aluminium prices edged lower in futures trade on Tuesday, tracking a weak trend in the spot market amid easing demand from consuming industries.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for February delivery declined by 20 paise, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 321.75 per kg, with a turnover of 2,497 lots.
Analysts said participants pared positions in response to subdued demand, which kept aluminium prices under pressure in futures trading.
